Application Criteria

• Bachelors degree in a related field (Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics and Finance) or equivalent work experience
• Proven experience in data analysis, data visualisation and dashboard development using MS Power BI
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction and transformation
• Proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for creating calculations and measures
• Ability to translate complex financial concepts into easily understandable visuals
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for workplace interactions.
• Experience with financial data and Investment performance reporting is advantageous
• Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes are preferred
• Certificate in MS Power BI is advantageous
• Inclination to complete further relevant courses

Purpose of Job

• Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand report requirements and data sources.
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from SQL databases into Power BI.
• Design and create interactive, visually appealing Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Develop and optimize DAX calculations and measures for data analysis.
• Customise and maintain existing dashboards to ensure accuracy and relevance.
• Collaborate with cross- functional teams to understand data requirements and provide data -driven solutions.
• Implement role-level security and data access controls to ensure data confidentiality in accordance with data protection regulations.
