    Business Unit Manager

    You will be responsible for ensuring the sales volume and profitability of the division at a national level, assuming full responsibility for managing the division and driving sustainable growth.

    • The role requires leading and motivating a sales team, product managers, and related customers, with a focus on achieving long-term objectives through strategic business planning for a 3-5-year period.
    • You will hold a BSc in a life science discipline, with a minimum of 6 years of technical and commercial experience within the Surface, Protective, or Industrial Technologies and Construction industries.
    • You possess a strong understanding of pricing structures and have at least 5 years of experience in a management role, leading a team. You should demonstrate strong leadership, planning, and organisational skills, with a results-driven approach and a clear focus on strategic business growth.
    • You will handle multiple functional outputs, including managing product and account managers, overseeing customer portfolios, and setting clear sales strategies for local and international markets.
    • A key responsibility will be new business development, actively seeking opportunities beyond the current portfolio, and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts.
    • The role also involves ensuring efficient working capital management, accurate forecasting, and reporting on sales performance.
    • Additionally, you will lead price negotiations, assist with technical briefs, and promote company products, ensuring alignment with industry and market trends while strategically growing the customer base year on year in terms of volume, revenue, and margins.
