Production Planner

You will be responsible for planning and coordinating production activities to ensure optimal use of resources and timely fulfilment of customer requirements (OTIF).
You will have a Grade 12 qualification and be highly computer literate, with the ability to manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously.
Essential that you have extensive knowledge of production processes, tooling, and experience in a planning environment, particularly within the printing industry.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills and the ability to work under pressure while managing multiple priorities are essential.
The role requires self-management, systematic thinking, and a collaborative approach to working with production teams.
Key responsibilities include planning work with production heads to optimise machine utilisation, ensuring the availability of raw materials, and creating and maintaining production schedules.
The planner will update loadings on the internal system, communicate any changes to delivery dates, and monitor shop floor management against production plans.
Additionally, the role supports planned maintenance, manages late orders, and contributes to meeting monthly sales and production targets.
