Diploma: Logistics

Experience

3 – 5 Years’ Experience in a Logistics / Supply Chain environment

Duties

Schedule loads, Liaise with depots and reps
Create batch orders for bagging plant
Liaise with bagging plant on product availability as well as production schedule
Liaise with BUs for finalizing the planning of packing and allocation of final product
Calculate blends and optimise BOM if needed
Liaise with transporters, procurement, production, marketing and bagging to move material as and when required
Map, understand and improve product flows
Minimize working capital requirements based on the Just-in-time principle and drive best practice behaviour
Communication to key individuals
Network with external and internal stakeholders
