What you will be doing

You will build, implement and maintain resilient, scalable cost-effective and high performing Cloud developer solutions that will assist Capitec to become the best bank in the world through the application of strong AWS and IaC skills

Minimum Requirements:

A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology
Experience in Agile/DevOps environments and CI/CD tools
Develop and support infrastructure for microservices-based architectures.
3 - 5 years’ experience in Infrastructure, Software Development, DevOps or Security
3 - 5 years design and implementation of highly available, enterprise-scale Cloud infrastructure.
2+ years in AWS, Engineering or Infrastructure
2+years’ previous experience with managing a CI system (Jenkins, Gitlab CI, Automic)
Experience with scripting and provisioning tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).

Our Ideal Candidate has

Design and deploy highly available, enterprise-scale Cloud infrastructure.
Strong design and troubleshooting skills on AWS (Azure or GCP is a plus).
Enhance build and release processes through automation.
Develop and support infrastructure for microservices-based architectures.
Knowledge of authentication and authorization technologies (LDAP, Kerberos, AD, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML).
Understanding of Cloud Security technologies and best practices.
Understanding of networking in Cloud environments.
