Key Output

Accurately diagnose and repair machine and generators.
Ensure machines and generators are maintained to meet all manufacture service requirements.
Effective self -management and performance ownership
Identification, reporting and feedback on product problem and implement corrective measures.
Build and sustain excellent customer relationships.
To sell parts and service to internal and external customers.
To provide specialist advise on all customer’s requirements and implement corrective measures.
Must have generator experience.
Must be able to rebuild components and large generator engines.
Must be able to remove and install generator alternators and be able to do alignment.
Must be flexible to work away from home and to work in Lesotho.

Qualification, Experience and Competencies

Grade 12 or equivalent
Qualification in relevant trade (e.g Diesel Mechanic/Earth Moving Equipment Mechanic) NQF 3
Computer literate
CAT Machine specific technical knowledge and skills
Sound interpretation of communication skills
Basic technical report writing
Basic business and financial understanding
Some Computer literacy (SIS, STW & ET) knowledge
Applicable product knowledge, failure analysis and customer orientation
Driver’s license – Code B
Understanding of supplier warranty system, policies & procedure
