    Project Manager (Western Cape)

    Description
    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Lead the planning, execution, and closure of projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
    • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.
    • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.
    • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, designers, and testers, to deliver high-quality solutions.
    • Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
    • Communicate project status, updates, and key milestones to stakeholders and senior management.
    • Manage project budgets, expenses, and resource utilisation to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
    • Conduct post-project reviews and assessments to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to fintech and project management.

    Requirements

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the fintech industry.
    • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
    • Proven track record of delivering technical projects on time and within budget.
    • Proficiency in project management tools such as Asana.
    • PMP, CAPM, or other relevant project management certifications are a plus
