    Reward Analyst

    Purpose of Job

    • Provide specialised services and support to the assigned client portfolio in the implementation of Rewards and Benefits policies, processes and practices. This includes provision of reward specific information, coordination of input required for the implementation of reward and benefit processes, contribute to Sasols participation in reward and benefit surveys, analysis of survey reports and other reward and benefits related matters.

    Recruitment Description / Key Accountabilities

    • Implement group minimum standards and policies in the assigned client portfolio addressing requirements on local issues relating to reward and benefit matters.
    • Implement BU/regional specific policies and plans, including recognition plans, specific reward policies and pay practices and changes to benefit plans such as retirement plans.
    • Support the participation in reward and benefits surveys and analyse survey reports to ensure alignment with internal reward and benefit practices to the external market. Use information to design pay lines.
    • Coordinate job evaluation services to the applicable client portfolio on request.
    • Responsible for the compliance of practices against minimum standards and policies and ensure that exceptions outside of approved Delegation of Authority are escalated to the leadership team for consideration.
    • Analyse the applicable client portfolio metrics, report the insights and suggest gap closing measures in the client.
    • Continuously monitor escalation in staff costs and turnover levels and escalate any concerns to the relevant Reward Manager.
    • Ensure that job evaluations are performed in a consistent and professional manner and that results are verified through the required processes and forums.
    • Effectively implement new group plans / policies and ensure that HR and line colleagues are well informed and educated about changed / new plans.
    • Execute selected regional programs, e.g. Rempro, annual increases, incentive exercises, implementation of new variable pay structures, etc.
    • Drive a high performance culture through strong integration of talent and reward processes and outcomes.

    Formal Education

    • University Bachelors Degree
