MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Agricultural Diploma / Degree advantageous
3 – 5 years minimum experience in pivot irrigation farming
Previous experience with livestock (game & cattle)
Previous cropping experience (maize, wheat, soya & sunflower)
Computer literacy essential
Maintenance experience with pumps and irrigation essential
Ability to work well within a team and unsupervised
Strong communication skills
Valid drivers license

RESPONSIBILTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Overseeing all aspects of the agriculture department within the company, this mainly consists of crop and feed production.
Staff supervision of the department.
Equipment maintenance of the department, financial performance of the department by means of budget preparations etc.
