Forklift Driver- S&V2 ( Seasonal Permanent)

Job Description

Responsible for the transportation and handling of bales on the HD press floor to the stowage area.

We need:

Matric
3 years’ experience in the wool store
Forklift license (valid)
Must be able to work in a team
Must take responsibility for own work output
Good interpersonal skills
Writing and arithmetic skills
Bilingual (Afrikaans and English)
Must be able to perform under pressure and follow instructions

KEY FUNCTIONS:

Ensure that the flow of bales is continuous and uninterrupted
Use Hyster effectively and efficiently to ensure maximum productivity.
Ensure that the forklift is in working order
Adhere to the rules and regulations of Health and Safety
Perform all ad hoc activities/duties/tasks/ as requested by his/her superior anywhere in the plant (BKB)
Always maintain a safe speed while ensuring productivity on the S & V floor
