    Agency Account Manager (Durban)

    Description

    Key Accountabilities:

    New Business Development:

    • Prospect, find, keep and grow a client base
    • Tap into existing network of business contacts to source new business
    • Aim for 15\% new business annually
    • High level business networking to grow influence and find new business

    Manage a portfolio of Agency Clients:

    • Build deep, meaningful working relationships with all clients
    • Keep clients updated on all station opportunities and packages
    • Sell airtime at a profitable margin within the discount parameters provided
    • Participate in sales programs from time to time (E.g. Flight Club)
    • Grow client base outside of Flight Club programs, to a minimum of 50\% of portfolio
    • Aim for 15\% NTR sales annually
    • Fulfil all reporting requirements, when required by sales management (including CRM, activity, pipeline etc.)

    Clients to ensure FM & non-FM targets are achieved

    • Drive and actively engage in the sales process to ensure stakeholder needs are met
    • Monitoring of campaigns and regular tracking and trending of spend
    • Actively source new potential clients to establish a new portfolio of Clients and develop strong stakeholder relations within the Direct Client portfolio.
    • Manage the stations’ CRM opportunities for advertiser benefit
    • Abide and live by the East Coast Radio values and culture

    Requirements

    Qualification Requirements:

    • Grade 12

    Experience and Skills Requirements:

    • Code 08 Drivers License
    • Preferably 2 years’ experience in the advertising and media sales environment
    • At least 3 years successful experience in sales essential
    • Excellent communication skills – written, verbal and telephonic
    • Above average problem-solving ability and negotiation skills
    • Excellent presentation skills
