Job Description:

• As a Driver at ACDC Express, you will be responsible for the daily delivery and collection of customer orders, as well as assisting in our warehouse operations as needed. This role is essential in ensuring timely and accurate service to our clients while maintaining a professional and respectful demeanor.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform daily deliveries of customer orders and collections of stock from suppliers in Cape Town.
• Assist in warehouse operations when required.
• Maintain a professional and respectful attitude towards ACDC staff, clients, and customers.
• Act with integrity and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Ensure the company vehicle is maintained according to company requirements, including cleanliness and upkeep.
• Keep an accurate trip logbook and ensure it is up to date.
• Comply with all road traffic and driving regulations.
• Plan efficient routes to ensure effective service delivery.
• Verify all orders for accuracy in accordance with delivery notes before leaving ACDC premises and upon arrival at delivery addresses.
• Efficiently dispatch orders and assist wherever needed.

Requirements:

• 5-10 years of driving experience.
• Physically fit and capable of handling the demands of the job.
• Familiarity with areas within the Western Cape.
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good reading and writing skills.
• Valid Code 08 driver’s license.
• Valid PDP (Professional Driving Permit).
• No criminal record.
