Requirements:

• MBChB and Degree in Radiation Oncology, full registration with Health Professional Council of South Africa as Radiation Oncologist.

Duties :

• The department of Radiation Oncology is based at Steve Biko Academic Hospital and affiliated with the University of Pretoria. This will be a joint academic post.
• This is a full time, permanent position for a Consultant Radiation Oncologist at Steve Biko Academic Hospital.
• The candidate should have full registration in Radiation oncology with the Health Professional Council of South Africa.
• Clinical duties including running radiation oncology clinics, radiotherapy planning and treatment, participation including participation in research activities, lecturing of undergraduate and post graduate students in medical and affiliated fields.
• Duties include compulsory overtime and ward ward cover.
• Applications must include CV, completed latest z83, copy of identity document, copy of Degree certificate as well as certificate of HPCSA registration.
