Job Description

• The receiving clerks responsibilities include verifying delivered Fibre and ensuring all data is correctly documented on the clip advise and delivery note. This position includes verifying of information on bales.

Requirements

• Grade 12
• 1-2 years warehouse experience
• Basic knowledge of Wool and Mohair
• Good understanding of warehouse processes
• Computer literacy
• Be prepared to work overtime and required to be available for off-loads after hours.
• Languages (Afrikaans/ English/ Xhosa)

KEY FUNCTIONS:

General Queries

• Ensure all queries are handled in a satisfactory manner
• Interact in a positive and professional manner with clients .

Receiving of wool

• Ensure all information/ Clip advise is correctly documented.

Verification of bales

• Ensure that bales are mark correctly.
• Ensure bales do not get lost in warehouse

Environment responsibility

• Ensure general housekeeping are done daily
• Adhering to Health and Safety regulations

Quality control

• Ensure ISO procedures are followed

Adhoc duties

• Assist with other task/activities delegated to you by your line manager.
