Minimum Requirements:

• Bookkeeping or accounting-related qualification
• 3 or more years of proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
• Proficient in Xero or QuickBooks
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Duties and Responsibilities:

General Bookkeeping:

• Maintain precise and up-to-date financial records.
• Handle daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Process and verify invoices, ensure the accuracy of bills, and manage payments to suppliers and vendors.
• Issue invoices to customers, track payments, and follow up on overdue accounts. Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Reconcile bank statements regularly to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Assist with other administrative and bookkeeping tasks as needed.

Payroll Processing:

• Accurately process payroll promptly.
• Ensure compliance with relevant tax and employment regulations.

Communication:

• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to address financial queries and provide necessary information.

Reporting:

• Maintain organized and comprehensive financial documentation.
• Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
