The Ticketing Officer is responsible for planning and making reservations for Wakanow customers. Responsibilities
Assisting and advising customers who may be choosing from various travel options.
Making reservations for customers based on their various requirements and budgetary allowances.
Check the availability of accommodation based on the customers’ desired travel dates.
Helping plan travel itineraries by suggesting local tourist attractions and places of interest.
Sorting out any issues that may arise with bookings or reservations.
Providing support to customers who have already made travel purchases by confirming, changing, or canceling the reservations
Notifying passengers about involuntary flight rescheduling or cancelations
Selling add-on travel products, such as hotels, travel insurance, etc.
Informing clients of essential travel information, such as travel times, transportation connections, and medical and visa requirements.
Requirements
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience in the Ticketing role.
Applicants should know how to issue and reissue tickets, know how to do refunds is a plus, and have a diploma/ Consultant in IATA/ UFTAA is also a plus.
Demonstrated experience in the use of Amadeus and other GDS platform
A deep knowledge of the aviation industry and ticketing rules
Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft, that is, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
