    About the role

    • Are you a detail-orientated professional with a passion for ensuring operational excellence? Join our dynamic Utilities department as Utilities Manager. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our Utilities managers and ensuring that all operations and processes run smoothly and effectively.

    What you will bring

    • A Senior Certificate with Mathematics as subject
    • At least 5 years’ experience within utilities environment
    • Experience in overseeing daily operations and coordinating team efforts
    • Working knowledge of legislation and regulations with regards to municipal / government supply and services requirements
    • Expertise in implementing and managing Service Level Agreements
    • Strong administration and reporting skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
    • Strong numeracy skills with the ability to accurately perform calculations and manage financial data
    • Communication, Drive and productivity, team leadership, customer and quality focus, accuracy, problem solving skills

    What you will be doing

    • Manage monthly billing within the mandated deadlines as per the SLAs
    • Monitor tenant updates in line with SLA
    • Monitor the resolution of queries in line with SLA
    • Reporting to landlords as per SLA
    • Monitor utilities procedures and compliance within Internal staff: Performance management; Training & Development
    • Manage Service Provider deliverables
    • Monthly meeting with Client relationship managers
    • Training of onsite staff with regards to Utility recoveries
    • Attending meetings with clients when required
    • Management of SLA and adherence and report back to client representative
    • Monitoring and scoring team against SLA on a monthly basis
