    Role:

    Reporting to the Treasury Coordinator:

    The Treasury Accountant will be responsible for managing bank reconciliation, payment and settlement operations, while ensuring the accurate and timely processing of all payments.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage day-to-day treasury operations, including cash and bank balance management.
    • Prepare and execute all payments (local & foreign) using SAP payment processes.
    • Maintain accurate records of all payment transactions and reporting of same.
    • Provide support to other departments on treasury-related matters.
    • Daily Liquidity and bank balance reporting for all accounts
    • Perform weekly and monthly bank reconciliations under scope.
    • Follow up of all bank payments to ensure execution and escalate any discrepancies.
    • Support the month end closure process where necessary.

    Requirements:

    Technical Competencies

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or any related field.
    • A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in treasury accounting or similar role.
    • In-depth knowledge of SAP Treasury Payment Processes is mandatory.

    Behavioural Competencies

    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
    • Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills.
    • Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic working environment.
