    Visual Merchandise Coordinator | Exact | Cape Town

    Responsibilities:

    Merchandising:

    • Ensure all buying strategies are interpreted into workable layout solutions & ensure stores are easy to shop in line with the seasonal merchandise strategy
    • To workshop/communicate all merchandise principles nationally to ensure successful implementation

    Communication:

    • Visual Presentations delivered, verbal and written communication (manuals, mailers etc) meets company standards
    • Store Mock-ups - communicate and facilitate any communication and set up processes required to get relevant sign off for various projects

    Production & Briefs:

    • Sign off all in-store campaign collateral with the creative & design manager & ensure that stores receive the correct elements/quantities
    • Follow-up with all relevant parties to ensure that critical deadlines are met to ensure campaign delivery into store
    • Ensure that all print material is quoted for and signed off within the critical path to ensure effective budget use

    Stores –  New/Revamps:

    • Ensure attendance of all shop fitting meetings and to provide open communication with relevant parties
    • Work closely with store design department regarding layouts/equipment etc
    • Ensure all visuals and equipment are in place on time for new stores and revamp stores
    • Facilitate a feedback process on every store opening / revamp

    Requirements:

    • Matric, Higher Certificate or Diploma
    • Minimum of 1 year visual merchandising experience
    • Able to take a brief, interpret it & action
    • A valid driver’s license
    • Proficiency in the following: Microsoft office, PowerPoint, Excel and Word
    • Proficiency in design programs would be advantageous, In design knowledge required
