    Business Development Manager-Investments

    Job Purpose:

    To provide distribution services and support to the investment business. Develop, implement, and maintain a distribution strategy aimed at growing business assets under management and administration across relevant distribution channels, primarily focusing on the retail environment. Work closely with other business units to grow the business footprint, awareness and market presence.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Distribution and Support:

    • Drive business development / distribution of the HI Funds, Products and other offerings.
    • Business development responsibilities would include working closely with the investment management, product and platform teams to grow net asset flows across distribution channels, with a primary focus on retail clients.
    • Provide advice and guidance to direct retail clients, only where necessary;
    • Play a supportive role in building the distribution capability for the business including the formulation, execution and monitoring of respective company retail channel strategies;
    • Drive the relevant activity associated with increasing net asset flows and appropriately servicing different channels and clients;
    • You will be required to regularly present to existing distribution channels to provide update on CIS funds and investment offerings;
    • You will be responsible for contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings with key decision makers;
    • You will be responsible for researching organisations and individuals, attending relevant conferences, meetings and industry events to find new opportunities for the business;
    • Construction and delivery of weekly, monthly and quarterly client investment and economic communications including liaison with the investment team on research reports and investment commentary, when required.
    • General input on group projects that require a marketing and client experience consideration.

    Required Knowledge and Experience

    • Minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar or related role.
    • Investment Industry experience with client relationships.

    • Relevant degree
