    Squad Coordinator Seeds - Northern Cape

    Role purpose
    Function the coordinator of all Seeds related selling activities in the CFS Unit for a geography.
    Coordinate the Seeds, and digital strategy and insure implementation into the farmer level.
    Support collaboration and track squad / hybrid performance and implement strategies to improve sales.

    Key responsibilities and tasks

    • Manage the strategy with Co-Ops and buying groups in the region
    • Define and implement key account strategy for buying groups and Co-Ops.
    • Manage the strategy with farmers via the RADL Segmentation
    • Develop clear territory plan to drive growth and to defend market share
    • Determine seeds sales budgets and forecasting within the squad and liaise with forecasting and 5 year plan team in the supporting squad
    • Complete monthly forecast compilation and alignment with forecast review teams monitoring forecast accuracy and deviation from budget.
    • Liaise closely with Supporting squad structures to ensure alignment with strategies.
    • Track sales figures on seeds while monitoring sell in and/or sell out and channel inventories.
    • Ensure squad is actively planning and keeping account information up to date on Salesforce
    • Ensure squad members are using RADL classification to plan account visits
    • Ensure squad members are applying segmentation analysis on Salesforce
    • Encourage and monitor team members learning on Bayer Academy
    • Track team performance on financial metrics, sell in, sell out and Climate Fieldview accounts
    • Safe keep our seeds sales policies, market funding and pricing with key farmers

    Experience, Skills and Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture or Marketing/Business Administration
    • Business and customer centric minded
    • Ability to drive change in complex and stable organization while not being disruptive to the business.
    • Ability to collaborate/communicate with and develop internal and external partnerships
    • Good Microsoft Office skills (Excel / Power Point / Word) a prerequisite
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills. Fluent in English, oral and written, is required.
