    Regional Sales Manager

    Responsibilities and Duties

    • To provide relevant input for sales strategy and sales plan in order to reach set targets as determined for the area of responsibility in supporting the company’s business plan
    • To manage, to UD Trucks Southern Africa advantage, the customer profile by establishing a customer management strategy for the Dealer Sales team, to strengthen relationships and secure future business
    • To provide market feedback to the Product Manager to ensure effective implementation of brand, product and pricing positioning as well as market analysis to determine dealer targets within Developing Markets
    • To manage and control the VMS for the UD Trucks brand within the company operational plan parameters
    • To ensure a competent and professional sales force at dealer level, through input to training departments on sales needs
    • To provide accurate and timeous reporting of sales targets to relevant stakeholders and take corrective actions as and when required
    • To ensure the emerging markets importer networks submits monthly forecast timeously to ensure effective inventory planning by the UD Trucks Southern Africa
    • To manage the utilization of the advertising levy fund by Dealers for funding marketing activities for the year)
    • To continuously build and enhance customer relationships via the Dealer network and ensure the UD Trucks Southern Africa is professionally represented
    • Monitor and manage bodybuilder activities for deliveries
    • Co-ordinate costings with regards to invoicing instruction
    • Monitor financial status against guarantees
    • Monitoring dealer performance against targets, action plans and sales strategy.

    Minimum qualifications and experiences

    Qualification

    • Knowledge of the vehicle export process (advantageous)
    • Diploma in transport solutions
    • Business Administration
    • Sales programme
    • 5 year experience in commercial vehicle sales
