    Technical Sales Representative

    Description

    • Business Development
    • Travel within sales territory to meet customers
    • Conduct calls and face-to-face meetings with customers daily
    • Maintain records of all sales leads and/or customer accounts
    • Educate customers on how products or services can benefit them financially
    • Monitor the company’s industry competitors, new products and market conditions to understand a customer’s specific needs
    • Do quotations.
    • Work closely with Marketing department to help build the brand
    • Sales Process Management
    • Identify prospective new business opportunities
    • Contact potential customers and make sales pitches
    • Build and maintain relationships with new and old customers
    • Keep client database updated
    • Have regular meetings with key stakeholders to assess customer satisfaction levels and to identify areas for customer development
    • Collaborates with customer service, billing, and other departments
    • Utilisation / Impact
    • Actively participate in knowledge sharing activities to support a culture of continuous learning and development amongst peers and colleagues.
    • Participate in continuous improvement of processes and documentation relevant to the area of operations that he/she is responsible for
    • Quality Assurance
    • Comply with all company processes and standards

    Minimum Requirements

    • Senior Certificate required. Tertiary Qualification advantageous. (Degree/ National Diploma in Sales or equivalent
    • 5+ Years experience in sales role in Telecommunications Industry is preferred
    • Knowledge and experience in sales and marketing
    • Domain knowledge and experience in Sales
    • MS Office and/or Google Suite
    • People skills
    • Customer focus
    • Problem solving and decision making
    • Communication skills: Written, spoken, listening and presentations
    • Negotiation skills
    • Writing documents in English
    • Motivation and teamwork
    • Fundamentals of business economics, finance and costing models
