    Finance Optimisation Specialist

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Gain a deep understanding of current finance and retail operations to identify improvement opportunities and develop effective solutions.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create comprehensive plans and projects for finance and retail transformation.
    • Lead discussions on enhancing finance operations, retail processes, and systems, guiding the team towards optimal solutions.
    • Manage the program roadmap, ensuring seamless implementation and scalability of solutions within finance and retail operations.
    • Champion the adoption of new processes, providing support to teams for successful implementation and change management.
    • Maintain open communication between projects, proactively identifying risks and opportunities for continuous improvement in finance and retail operations.
    • Lead the team in defining business requirements and designing future processes, controls, and retail operations enhancements.
    • Utilise data-driven approaches to measure and manage implementations, focusing on value creation for the business in both finance and retail.
    • Develop innovative strategies to address challenges and guide teams through transitions into new areas within finance and retail operations.

    QUALIFICATION

    • Qualification: B.Eng Industrial Eng
    • Proven track record in process redesign and implementation within finance and retail environments.
    • Strong analytical and logical thinking skills with a creative approach to problem-solving.
    • Ability to assess and prioritise information to draw relevant inferences for informed decision-making.
    • Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for identifying opportunities for improvement in finance and retail operations.
    • Comprehensive understanding of processes, systems, and data flow within finance and retail operations.
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders across all levels of the organisation.
    • Proficiency in financial analysis, reporting, and accounting principles gained through relevant work experience.
    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
    • A passion for driving change and a proactive attitude towards continuous improvement in both finance and retail operations.
