Job Description:

  • Summary Purpose

    • To lead targets-driven programmes unit, support transformation into a member-centered learning organisation and be jointly responsible for attainment of organizational sustainability goals

    Initial Duties and Expectations

    Responsibilities are, but not limited to:

    • Report to the Executive Director, closely work with impact director to achieve the organisational goals and oversee Managers, coordinator and junior team members
    • Support the Executive Director on administrative leadership and delivery on strategic and transformational goals of the organisation
    • Lead all activities under programmes unit with the attainment of project and revenue generation targets, while maintaining a cordial relation with all stakeholders
    • Collaborate with impact Director to drive organisational learning and partnerships
    • Responsible for teacher professional development and related activities with Ministry of Education agencies
    • Responsible for geographic expansion of mission-driven activities
    • Responsible for planning, executing and reporting on all training and development operations related to all periodic programmes
    • Co-develop programmes budget with Finance Manager for Executive Director final approval
    • Work closely with Director of impact to ensure seamless services and cordial relationships with Educatprs and members of the organisation and
    • Oversee unit and staff including managers, coordinator and analysts, shared oversight for development of masters fellows and fellows

    Qualification Required & Experience

    • 10 to 15 years experience with 5 years in a similar role, Master’s Degree in Marketing, Operations, Business Administration, Education or other appropriate field, project management certification or relevant experience, strong experience, contacts and passion for Education
    • Experience with Teaching or Teachers preferred, Demonstrable track record of leading departments or organisations to achieve revenue generation targets, ability to work with modern data analyses, presentation, IT and online collaboration software, strong demonstrate analytical, organisational leadership, interpersonal and communication skills to convince others of new thinking and projects
