Job Description:

  • The Human Resource Officer is responsible for supporting the HR functions within the organization. This includes recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and other HR-related activities.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Recruitment and Staffing:

    • Coordinate the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, and interview scheduling.
    • Conduct interviews and participate in the selection process.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of onboarding programs for new hires.

    Employee Relations:

    • Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
    • Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
    • Address employee grievances and provide counseling as needed.

    Performance Management:

    • Implement and manage performance appraisal processes.
    • Work with managers to set performance goals and objectives.
    • Provide guidance on performance improvement plans.

    HR Policies and Compliance:

    • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
    • Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures.
    • Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to HR policies.

    Training and Development:

    • Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs.
    • Support employee growth and career advancement.
    • Facilitate training sessions on HR-related topics.

    Benefits Administration:

    • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
    • Assist employees with benefits-related inquiries.

    HR Administration:

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
    • Handle HR-related documentation, including contracts and letters.
    • Prepare reports on HR metrics and analytics.

    Communication:

    • Effectively communicate HR policies and procedures to employees.
    • Facilitate communication between management and employees.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
    • Proven experience as an HR Officer or similar role.
    • Knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
    • Organizational and multitasking abilities.
