Job Description:

  • We are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Event Manager to lead our strategic business portfolio. As the Events & Partnerships Manager, you will play a pivotal role in launching and establishing this new business line, driving its success through strategic partnerships and excellent event operations. This is a ground-breaking opportunity to build something entirely new, leveraging on your expertise to make a meaningful impact within the company and for our clients.

    Business Setup:

    • Conduct market research to assess demands, competition, and pricing strategies.
    • Develop a comprehensive business plan outlining strategies for entering the product related service markets.
    • Negotiate and finalize strategic partnership agreements with various service providers and suppliers within the related markets, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and service standards.
    • Create operational procedures and workflows for efficient service delivery.
    • Collaborate with partners to streamline processes and ensure high-quality service delivery.
    • Maintain strong relationships with partners to foster long-term collaborations and business growth.

    Event Coordination:

    • Create comprehensive product related service packages such as but not limited to the provision of canopies, chairs, PA systems, catering services to diverse client needs and budgets.
    • Plan, coordinate, and execute events, including funerals, graduations, and weddings.
    • Manage a team of event staff, providing training and ensuring their professionalism and efficiency.
    • Implement a streamlined event booking and logistics system, ensuring efficient order processing and timely delivery/setup.
    • Ensure all logistical arrangements, such as venue setup, transportation, and catering, are well-coordinated and executed flawlessly.
    • Oversee the setup of canopies, chairs, PA systems, and other equipment at event locations.
    • Provide on-site management and support during events guaranteeing client satisfaction and adherence to service protocols.
    • Handle any unforeseen issues with tact and empathy, prioritizing the families’ emotional well-being.
    • Maintaining records of all products related services provided
    • Address customer complaints, enquiries, payment discussions, or other post-service issues.

    Client Relationship Management:

    • Act as the primary point of contact for the Company’s clients who are seeking any of the products related services.
    • Liaise with clients to understand their specific needs and preferences for managing the various events.
    • Provide personalized recommendations and solutions to meet clients’ requirements and budget constraints.
    • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by delivering professional services.

    Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

    • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to partnership success, including client enrolment, customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and brand awareness.
    • Analyse data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
    • Prepare regular reports and presentations for management to assess the success and impact of the product related services.
    • Evaluate the performance of suppliers, contract workers, or other service providers to guarantee quality and cost-effectiveness.

    Marketing & Communication:

    • Coordinate development of digital portal for running end-to-end service delivery.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop co-branded marketing campaigns promoting the various partnerships and its value proposition.
    • Manage social media and online presence related to the business.
    • Sales focus both locally and internationally

    Qualification

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Event Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
    • 5+ years of proven experience in event management, partnership development, or business development.
    • Excellent project management abilities, including the capacity to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks effectively.
