EngenderHealth envisions a gender-equal world where all people achieve their sexual and reproductive health and rights. We believe this is essential for ensuring all people can achieve their full potential. To achieve this vision, we implement high-quality, gender-equitable programs that advance sexual and reproductive health and rights.
EngenderHealth is a global health non-profit organization with expertise in family planning, sexual and reproductive health, maternal health, gender equality, and gender-based violence prevention and response. We partner with host country governments to expand access to high-quality health services for their populations and support data-driven policy decisions. We collaborate with local civil society organizations to prioritize health, reproductive rights, and inclusive systems and services. We bring more than 50 years of experience working in some of the most disadvantaged and underserved communities across more than 100 countries. Today, we have a presence in 12 countries in Africa and Asia, where we have deep, long-standing connections with local organizations, government institutions, and healthcare providers.
EngenderHealth is recruiting qualified candidates for an anticipated USAID-funded Accelerate Action for Family Planning Activity in Ghana, expected to begin in March 2024. This proposed activity seeks to accelerate family planning achievements in Ghana by providing technical assistance to Ghana Health Service to scale up long-acting reversible and permanent contraceptive methods at public sites across the country and strengthen GHS stewardship of family planning programming. The activity will also engage civil society in strengthening the enabling environment for Adolescent Responsive Family Planning. As a result of the FP scale-up, there will be a reduction in expressed unmet needs among intended populations.
